In practice, step 1: draw up the layout plan
First of all, you need to think about your tiled terrace project on pedestals. For this, nothing better than a layout plan! This detailed plan, to scale, represents the shape of your terrace, its dimensions but also and above all the material necessary for the construction of your paving terrace! Paving pedestals for terraces, porcelain stoneware tiles… This precision will allow you to calculate the number of purchases to be made, to facilitate installation and above all to optimize your budget.
Step 2: lay your UPTEC SUPAS paving terrace pedestals
- Start by ensuring the quality of the ground: the surface on which the paving terrace pedestals are placed must be perfectly clean, with no trace of liquid, dirt or foreign materials ;
- Start laying the pedestals from a corner. For optimal installation, cut the base on both sides following the pre-cut line ;
- Adjust the height of your paving terrace pedestal ;

Step 3: lay your porcelain stoneware tiles
- Lay the first porcelain stoneware tile starting at one corner.

- Repeat these operations until the surface of the porcelain stoneware pavings is covered.

Step 4: make the side finishes
For a perfect finish to your UPTEC SUPAS tiled terrace on pedestals, you will need to make porcelain stoneware cutouts that will be held vertically by an ingenious BSJ profile and the Rinno ClipSystem. Here is how to clad your paving terrace:
- Place the Bottom ClipSystem under the base of the paving pedestal
- Position the pedestal with the cut side facing out
- Lay the BSJ profile on the head of the pedestal
- Cut your porcelain stoneware tile at the correct height (distance between the BSJ profile and the Bottom ClipSystem)
- Place the cut tile between the BSJ profile and the Bottom ClipSystem
- Install your porcelain stoneware covering.
